Christmas in September...?

It's September 1st!

I'm quite excited for this month because most (rather.. all) of my favorite TV shows are going to be back! And there are also new TV shows that I am excited to watch. Actually, I have marked my calendar for the month of September with the TV shows' schedules.

Other than the TV shows, another thing I'm excited about (every time September comes) is.. Christmas. I know that you think it's early for that but it's already the start of the -ber months and soon enough, it's already Christmas! Days go by faster when we're on the -ber months. I don't know if it's just me but that's what I noticed. And every time it's September, I started to hear Christmas songs and some of the malls here sell Christmas stuffs already. It's making me even more excited.  Add the fact that I do my own countdown before Christmas. haha!

I guess from the last paragraph you can say that Christmas is my favorite Holiday/Season. (Oh wait! Look what came on shuffle! Do They Know It's Christmas by Band Aid! ha! Even my iTunes is excited for Christmas.. Okay.. Going back..) I love this holiday. Every thing is about giving and love and sharing and happiness and the mood just feels so right. Here in my country, I can say that we love Christmas that we prepare for it early. Like.. September! Some prepare earlier than September. Honestly, Christmas decorations bring this light mood around you when you look at them most especially at night, when Christmas lights are on. I remember last year, it was December and I was watching Glee's Christmas episode (where Sue was the grinch) and I had the lights out in the living room and only the Christmas lights were open. It was a.. happy moment for me. It is very melodramatic, believe me, I know. But it's just how I felt that time and as I've said, Christmas decors (more on Christmas lights) bring this light mood around you where you just feel so happy and thankful and content.

What is even more exciting preparing for this holiday is the shopping. When my mum was still working, she would text me to meet her in the mall and we'll shop together. Not just to buy stuffs for me and for her and for the house but also for her friends. It was fun. You can feel the Christmas rush and it's like... every thing is on sale! Then we'll go home around 8pm or 9pm carrying numerous bags! Fun times. I also enjoy wrapping gifts. It's tedious but I like it. Strange, I know.

And when I am at home, I listen to Christmas songs and watch movies where the setting is in a Christmas holiday (Love Actually!!) or there's a scene in that movie where it's Christmas. Believe me, that will make me happy. :))

See how time will go faster starting this day. Before you know it, the news will already be doing the Christmas countdown and other Christmas-related stuffs, and.. before you know it, you'll find yourself shopping with everyone who hasn't bought gift for their loved ones yet. Christmas rush!

Christmas countdown. 115 days before Christmas!
