Birthday Eve

20 minutes before the clock strikes 12mn and I'm really excited. My stomach is hungry, but I don't wanna eat 'cause I'll be hitting the sack soon. OH SHIZ!! Look at the time! It's 11:41pm!

When the clock strikes 12MN, I'll be turning 22. WELL.. Not really.. I mean.. Yeah, it's my birthday but I'm STILL 21. haha! I don't really consider myself a year older until it's 8:25am. That's my birth time. :D

JSYK.. I don't like it when people greet me early. hihi. It's because.. they forget to greet me on the day itself! Not all though. hehe. Sorry. But I'm just too sensitive when it comes to my birthday. I want it on time. LMAO! 

So today, the eve of my birthday.. I watched Grey's Anatomy. IKR?! Medical drama. And the episodes are really heavy on drama. I should be happy on my birthday eve. It's like Christmas Eve. You should be happy and jumpy and starting to celebrate but I chose to watch Grey's. What is wrong with me? haha!

Actually, I'm just blabbering random thoughts here. This is like a pointless blog but I just want to remind myself maybe 5,10, 20, or 50 years from now what I did on the eve of my birthday this year, 2011. I don't wanna forget times like this. so.. That's all. It's already 11:49pm.. 11 minutes before March 31st. I'm just.. PSYCHED!!

Wishlists

4 days before my awaited 22nd birthday and I'm thinking of gifts. HAHA! You cannot blame me.. It's what everyone thinks of when their birthday is near. :D (or it's just me. LMAO)

My parents, godparents and friends would ask me what I want and every time they ask that, I couldn't think of anything. Maybe I should show them this so I won't have to talk and they can..CHOOSE. hahaha!

• I love any Hanson stuffs. T-shirts, GUITAR PICKS, silly bands, stickers.. Their albums.. their DVDs, book, sunglasses.. Yeah, I'm a fan. And my friends prolly know it by now. :D Meeting them and going to their show would be FANTABULOUS!!!

• Talking about fangirling, any Azkals stuffs will make me happy too. Even a life size poster (??) of James or Patrick. :)))))) Something signed by them or something anything from them will make me happier. Meeting them (particularly this 2: James Younghusband and Patrick Hinrichsen) will make me the happiest!!

• LIPSTICKS!! I can go out without makeup on but without lipstick? naah. They give color to my face. I love red shades. Matte lipsticks will do too. I like long wearing lipsticks as I don't like retouching every now and then.

• Perfumes. Who wouldn't want perfumes? :D

• I also like things that are personalized for me. It's much special.

• DVDs of my favorite movies or TV shows!! Grey's Anatomy, Charmed, The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, The O.C., 90210, Private Practice, E.R., Glee and lots more! :D 

• Albums of my favorite bands/singers. If you know me, you know what to give :D HA! :))

• Tickets to places I'd love to go to! :D

• Volley ball

• GOOD BOOKS! I also love to have Prince William and Kate Middleton's book. Also, Diana's biography. :D

• Tickets to the World Olympics. I'm a fan of the World Olympics since I was a kid. :)

• Acoustic Guitar. My guitar is Nylon stringed and I want to have a steel stringed guitar. Acoustic Guitar would be very nice.

• Camera. I'm very particular with the megapixels. It doesn't have to be DSLR.

Where do broken hearts go?

I found this on my desktop. I wrote this when I had a MAJOR heartbreak last year. He was my co-trainee. *sigh* It's another sayang. haha! pfft! 

Okay.. This is really very emotional. You'll get sick of it 'cause I did. HAHA! But this was me during that heartbreaking time. So.. read if you want. =] 

P.S. LOLing at my title. :))

I was lying on my bed, listening to my iPod with my laptop on my lap. You know how sometimes music changes your mood? yeah, it happened to me. 

All of a sudden, I remembered EVERY MOMENTS WE HAD. From the very first time I saw him, the very first time I asked his name, the very first time he looked at me, talked to me, smiled at me and the very first time he approached me. I remembered those sweet kulitan moments we had that was seen by almost all of the people in that ward. The time when I was writing on the whiteboard and he was standing by my side, looking and smiling at me like a weirdo. The time when he washed his face and he wiped his wet hands on my arms then I chased him and wiped it in his shirt. The time when he was begging me to come with him to his patient. The time when he said 'sige, di na lang ako aalis. dito na lang ako, sasabihin ko kay mam' when the clinical manager said that all junior trainees should go to the auditorium. The very first time he chatted me, the very  first time he texted me in the morning saying that he just woke up. And the first time he called me. The time when he said 'kain ka na' with that sweet caring tone of voice. And the time when we were inseparable on my extended night shift duty. I remembered all those things as I'm hearing sad love songs or just love songs that i could dedicate and sing to him and I suddenly cried. 

I don't know why I was crying, I tried to stop but the tears won't stop from falling down my eyes. So I asked myself, "why are you crying?" Then I remembered all the things that happened when me and my friends went out and he was there.. with a girl, whom he claimed his girlfriend. And our last conversation on text and his last text to me. I remembered those and I was really hurt. I realized that I'm crying because of that and that I'm hurt.. And I was heart broken.. This was a moment of realization for me as I realized one thing again. That you can not have your heart broken if you're not in love. And that's when I also realized that.. this is not just like a high school crush. It was something else. I realized that I've fallen in love.. that I love him. 

But maybe, I loved him before this crying thing happened and I was just too scared to admit it back then. It's just sad that I have to realize it this way. I remembered what I said to my friends that I'm never gonna fall in love with him unless he falls first. 'Cause if he's the first one to fall, then I know I'm sure. But I lost. Again. 

I cried that night and he was all that I can think of. I had a little break to wipe the tears but the tears continue to fall. I thought it wouldn't stop, but.. things end. I went out of my room to wash my face and I saw that my eyes were really sore. I tried to avoid eye contact with the people in the house. I don't want them to know why I was crying.

Then I went online. I thought surfing the net will change my mood but I was wrong. I couldn't smile, I am out of focus, I was boring on chat. Then I told my friend about what happened to me. I'm glad she understands me. Then she said something which made me cry again. It was really.. somewhat ridiculous to cry when you're online. I told her that I was crying and that I pity myself. She said she don't know what to do to me and she wanted to come here at home. I was touched and then the tears continue to fall. I remembered everything again. Add the fact that I miss him so much. SO much that it made me cry and that it's breaking my heart.  

I stood up, opened the refrigerator and I saw a bottle of wine. I went to get a glass and poured wine until my glass was half full. I couldn't drink everything in the bottle. Onti na lang kasi and my mom's going to wonder if I drink all of it. I must admit, I felt better after drinking it. But the pain is still there. 

2 days after, my friends and I had a drink. I had too much again but I was fine. I got home at 12, and I was lying on my bed, laptop on, looking at OUR pictures and I cried again. It hurts more because I was looking at our pictures together. I've never cried so much for someone like this. Guess I really have fallen hard.

I was trapped. I am looking for an escape. But I just can't escape. 

(BUT I WAS ABLE TO ESCAPE!!)

This was written 14th of July 2010. July 2010 was a rough month for me because of this. I drank 4-5 times in one week. Just one week. Then the next weeks, I felt numb and even if I wanted to cry, I just can't. There are no more tears for me to shed. Good thing I have friends who supported me all the way. :)

So where is this person now? He's still alive.. and with his girlfriend. LOL! I don't know if he's still having trainings or if he's volunteering. I don't know what keeps him busy now except for his girlfriend. :)) But sometimes we talk. 

OH!

And 2 months AFTER this incident (September 2010), he told me to re-enroll for the training program in the hospital where we met. WHY? SO WE CAN WORK TOGETHER! Meeh. Actually, there are a lot of things that happened after July 2010 which I told my friends and it made them wonder why he's like that. He's such a weirdo. haha! But I'm over him now and I guess we're okay. 

Still single and always ready to mingle! ROFLMAO!

Bangs, bangs boom!!!

It's March 26th already! Just 5 days before my 22nd birthday. Yep, I'm turning 22. -______-


As my tradition, I always have my hair cut days before my birthday. Why? Hmmm. I don't really have a reason. haha! Maybe I just wanna look good on my birthday since I'll be celebrating and for sure, pictures will be taken. :))


I had my haircut today. It was shorter than my previous haircuts. It's length is above the shoulder and I had the straight cut bangs and not the layered/side type of bangs which I usually wear. heee.


I was actually inspired by Zooey Deschanel. Her bangs are just fantabulous! Here are some of her photos:

There. Isn't she beautiful? :D I have a girl crush on her... and to Katy Perry too. They both look alike. (Okay.. I'm getting out of topic.)

So.. That.. 

I wanted that bangs and I know that it will look much better on me if I have long hair but my hair was just 5 inches below my shoulder. -____- But I had may hair cut anyway because my bangs are killing me. So this is what happened..

I look like a Japanese. :)))


I'll maintain this bangs and I PROMISE to grow my hair just like Zooey's.

Royal Wedding Procession

Here I am talking about the wedding of Wills and Kate. Told ya, I'm a sucker for Royals. 


While I was on twitter, a tweet from hello magazine caught my eyes! It says.. 
#RoyalWedding: The newly-weds' procession route through historic London


So I clicked the link and voila! I saw a labeled map of London and the highlighted streets of it which is the route for their procession. Here it is..

So the route is like this. 


Kate will be  greeting the crowds starting in 'The Mall' then to the Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and to the Parliament Square and finally to the Westminster Abbey. She will be riding the Rolls Royce Phantom VI. This was the car used by Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, when they were attacked in a student protest. Here is the 'damaged' car:

After the wedding ceremony in Westminster Abbey, the newly weds will travel to the Buckingham palace by a carriage! (Now, this is what I wanna see! THEM in that carriage!) That carriage was also the same carriage that Prince Charles and Princess Diana used on their wedding day! Here it is!

AHH! Look at the late Princess Diana.. She's soo beautiful! :)


Let's take another trip to the procession with photos! 


It'll start at The Mall.

After the ceremony, they will go to the Buckingham Palace.

1. I am right handed. 


2. My favorite color is green. Though most of my things are color Pink! :))


3. I'm a very musical person. Meaning, I love to sing, I play music instruments and sometimes I write songs.


4. I'm of German descent (paternal side). And based on my grandma's stories (maternal side), her parents are of Spanish and Chinese descent. So.. yeah.. But I'm living in the Philippines-- born and raised in the Philippines.


5. My favorite band is Hanson. They're not just the MMMBop boys! Stop thinking that their music is only MMMbop. C'mon! They have a lot of wonderful songs! They never stopped making music. ;)


6. I'm a very sporty person but I don't have friends to play my favorite sports with.


7. I'm a quiet and shy person. My friends would disagree but I know myself better! HA! :P

15. When I was in 1st grade, there was a singing contest per level and I auditioned. I sang One Sweet Day and i didn't qualify because my voice was too soft. LMAO! Talk about courage! :)))


16. My aunt (mum's younger sister) was the one who taught me how to sing. I remember singing You've Made Me Stronger by Regine Velasquez (Asia's Songbird). And they let me sing on my brother's birthday. I sang Disney songs! That is the beginning of my music interest and.. career. LMAO!


17. I had a band in Highschool We were called Blitzkreig. I was the lead guitarist (though I'm not really THAT good in guitar.). We won these awards: Best Drummer, Best Keyboardist and Band of the Year! That was 2005!


18. Betty Boop was my favorite character when I was little. I had a lot of t-shirts with Betty Boop design.


19. I always do a countdown whenever my birthday is 100 days away. :))


20. My favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella.


21. I don't smoke.


22. I was 20 years old when I graduated from college and earned my Bachelor's degree.


23. I passed the Nurses Licensure Exam last 2009. I'm proud of myself! :D


24. I have a (tiny. LOL) crush on one of the trainers in the gym I'm going. Can't mention his name. :)))


25. I had girl crushes. Can't blame me because I studied in an exclusive for girls school for 14 years! But it stopeed when I entered College. Boys galore. LMAO! JK.


26. I got my driver's license this March.


27. I was born March 31st, year 1989 @ 8:25am.


28.  I want to learn how yo play violin, cello, bass, harmonica and harp.


29. I wanted to be a NINJA when I was in 5th grade. :))

75. I watched the Michael Jackson special last 2009. It was the tribute thing with all of MJ's family and friends present. I cried when Paris Jackson started to speak. It was very heart breaking to watch.


76. There's this episode in The Vampire Diaries where my heart broke when Tyler left Mystic falls. Especially the part where he talked to Matt and he was outside Caroline's house!! 


77. I love summer. I just don't like EXTREME HEAT.


78. My favorite cookies are: Oreo and Chips Ahoy!


79. My favorite pianist (male) is Taylor Hanson. For female, it's gotta be Alicia Keys.

95. When I was a kid, I had a crush on my neighbor. He admitted to me that he has a crush on me too. Then he kissed me on the cheek and ran to their house!! hahaha!


96. My mom taught me cursive writing when I was 5. She lets me copy news articles and I hated it. 


97. I was a top speller in my class--Gradeschool days. And because of that, my English teacher let me join the Spelling Bee contest (This was 1st or 2nd grade). I didn't win because I really wanted to pee and they won't let me. I lost because I couldn't concentrate. -__-


98. I got in trouble when I was in 2nd year HS. I, together with my 2 friends, almost got expelled! :)) I wrote a letter to my friend and I talked about my Bio teacher which was her class' adviser. That letter slipped out of her pocket and her ADVISER got it and read it! I said a  lot of bad things about her because I was upset with what she did to me on her class. bahaha! As a punishment, me and my friends always seat infront during Bio for about 2 months. it sucked! Ang good thing she didn't take it personally. Cause if she did, the 3 of us got expelled. :)) After that incident, she and I became like.. close.. Of course that happened when I passed my sophomore year. :))


99. My dream profession when I was a kid was to be a teacher. My relatives would always ask me why. heee. But I ended up being a Nurse anyway. :))


100. I am thinking if I should pursue my Master's Degree right now or take the IELTS and review for NCLEX.

Majestic Royal Wedding

I am fascinated by the Royals--Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, Dukes, Duchesses, Earls, Countesses, Viscounts and other titles there may be. I have such huge interest in them.. particularly the British Royal family. More particularly, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor. Prince William for short. :)

Prince William, as everyone already know, is the eldest son of Charles, Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales and he is 2nd in line to the throne. So what's the fuzz about him?! Well, first of all, he's like the most gorgeous Royal in today's time, he's sporty, he's sooo nice and down to earth and he's supporting a lot of charities and.. HE'S GETTING MARRIED!!!

Of course, we all know by now that he's getting married to the pretty brunette commoner, Catherine Middleton.. or Kate.. 

So who is Kate Middleton? Kate is just a commoner like most of us. She is the eldest child of Carole, a then-flight attendant and Michael, an airline officer. She met William in University of St. Andrews, first becoming just friends and then later, their friendship blossomed. And look now, she's engaged to Prince William! About to wed him in 40 days (April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey) She's one lucky commoner!

I have nothing against Kate. I think she's perfect to be William's Princess... and England's future Queen. I just envy her 'cause she's marrying the Prince of my dreams! (I know, I know. LMAO!) And I think she had enough time to prepare to become a royal. Being with William for 7 or 8 years really helped her. 

Going back to their wedding..

I think it's going to be a majestic one! Like a modern day fairy tale. I have this expectation that it will be like Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana's BEAUTIFUL wedding back in the 80s. Too bad I wasn't born when they got married. I only saw some clips of their fairy tale like wedding and it's just awesome! I fell in love! Diana's gown was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for a Princess. 

I believe that people all over the world expects a wedding like that or a more grand wedding for Wills and Kate. It's the wedding of the decade! :D But knowing William and Kate, I think they will make it just very simple.  I THINK. But who knows? It may be a simple yet more grand wedding! I cannot wait to watch their wedding! My schedule for the 29th of April is reserved. 

As for Kate's gown.. It's still a mystery for most of us. Clarence House says that future details about the wedding will be announced soon or on the wedding day itself. I'm excited to see her wedding dress! I have no exact picture on my mind on what it's going to be like but for sure it's going to be simply elegant and fit for our future Queen. RATHER.. England's future Queen. haha! I feel like I'm an English citizen now. :))

Anyhoo.. I'm happy for Wills and Kate. They're going to be one influential Royal couple. I hope people will stop comparing Kate to Will's mum. Apparently, people just can't help it. I'm pretty sure Kate will do a very good job as a Princess. It's gonna take some time 'cause she's new to this. William and his family would be of great help to her. And in time, she'll just do it naturally. She's really a Princess and Queen potential. God bless her!

Do I Matter?

Sometimes I feel like I don't matter.. to anyone.. AT ALL.

Friends, of course, will say yes. But how come I don't feel like I do now? 

It's easy saying it but I'd believe them more if they show it. As the saying goes, 'Action speaks louder than words.'

Also, sometimes I feel like they are not hearing me out. They are supposed to understand me but they won't LISTEN. 

Sometimes their "It's okay" doesn't make me feel better. I only end up feeling much worse.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm being taken for granted.

Sometimes I feel like I'm nothing to them. 

And sometimes I'm being ignored. What am I? Invisible now?

This just tears my heart. It's as if I don't exist.. I don't matter.. >.<

Football thoughts: Philippines VS Mongolia

This was supposed to be published last March 15, 2011. But I just can't publish it on Multiply so I'm going to post it here and let's just think that today is the 15th of March! haha!

The day has come! Today, March 15, 2011, is the 2nd Leg between the Philippine Azkals VS Mongolia Blue Wolves in the AFC Challenge Cup. Who ever wins (combining the scores from the last match) will enter the Group Stage in Myanmar next week.

On the 1st leg (which happened here in the Panaad Stadium, Bacolod), Azkals had a 2-0 advantage. That 1st game was just thrilling!!! Every time I watch highlights of that game, it just gives me chills most especially the part where Chieffy Caligdong and Phil Younghusband scored a goal! That's how amazing that game was. Azkals played with their heart to bring Pinoy pride. The dogs surely kicked some wolves' ass.

And from then on, we followed their every move and kept ourselves updated with what's happening on their trainings and all until today has come!

I was really looking forward to this 2nd leg and based on the positive thoughts of the players, I KNOW that the team's going to the Group Stage and will have a big win on the 2nd match. WELL.. NOT until I watched the game this afternoon.

I watched the game at home. I was really excited and nervous at the same time but I believe in the team. I believe that they can get through this and have the BIG WIN 'cause they have this amazing teamwork. They are actually more than just a team. They're FAMILY.

So.. going back..  I was excited so I was tweeting while watching the game and then bam! We scored a goal! It was unclear to me YET as to who did it. Some said it was Ian Araneta, some said it was James Younghusband. (I BLAME THE CAMERA FOR THIS! Major camera fail all through out the game!) And then there was the recap of the shot and it was James who scored the first goal. I felt like jumping in the highest building when I found out it was JAMES who did it! haha! Talk about fan girling. :) With that goal, I believed that the team will be inspired to score some more. BUT.. The Blue Wolves just won't allow 'em. 

The Mongolian's performance on today's game was a surprise for me. Surely, they weren't like that when they played with the Azkals last month for the 1st match. They were wowing me! They're good. They have this different energy than when they were here. Maybe it's because they're playing in their homeland and they have the Mongolians up on the stands to cheer them up and they didn't have that on game 1. Set aside those stuff, they were really playing great. They scored 2 goals during the 1st half of the game. Actually, they could've scored more goals. 

On the other side, Azkals struggled during the 1st half. I can see that Eduard Sacapaño is pressured. I can see the team's lack of defense and maybe lack of focus. Looks like the weather has taken its toll on them. AND ALSO, I THINK that their play was affected by the artificial turf. I THINK.

2nd half came and we saw a better Azkals. They were exactly the opposite of what they showed us during the 1st half. Mongolians on the other hand, remains the same. Azkals' defense was better and you can really see them working very well with each other. I'm not saying that they weren't working with each other on the 1st half. It's just.. the teamwork is different.. They're very much alive--their spirits are high, they're back in the game! Only thing I didn't like VERY MUCH on the 2nd half was Phil having the hamstring injury. -___- I hope he's fine and I hope it's nothing serious. I wanna see him play next week!

Just when I thought that the game is about to end, 5 minutes were added to the game time. I became anxious because that 5 minutes is still long and a lot of things can happen. OH, I only prayed that time! I even tweeted "No more goals for Mongolia, please." haha! I begged God and everyone in heaven for this! And yes, God heard me! Mongolians didn't score a goal (and so as the Azkals) and they won the game with a 1-2 score.

BUT..

The Azkals are going in the qualifiers next week! Why? Combine the scores from the last game and today's game, we have 3-2 with the Azkals leading. So yeah.. we still won. PLUS, we have the advantage because we were able to score an away goal. Get it? Okay.. Meaning, we were able to score a goal in our opponent's home. Now, get it? :)

So even if we lost in today's game, we still got in the group stage. It may not be the best game but hey! The team did their best! No need for blaming and trash talking them. It looks easy for us who were watching than them who were actually playing the game. So stop the hate and let's all move on. Let's all focus on the games next week!
